G Scale Loco Plans29 Aug 2005 23:17 GMT5
I have just taken the first steps in building a garden railway, which
I have wanted to do for some time.  It will be in "G" scale using LGB
track (because I've just bought some secondhand).  This is 45mm track
(like guage 1 size) but modeled on narrow guage track -so much

Hi, I was rummageing around through a storage box of kit boxes and found a
couple of Bf 109 kits, so I did some reading about the versions and became
confused.
Why, well this is why.....

This isn't my auction, I just ran across it on eBay.
Current price is just over $30.00; last one of these I saw at auction
went for about $300.
Good luck to all.
Space Shuttle model29 Aug 2005 10:28 GMT2
A few years ago, I saw an intriguing model in Hong Kong airport; it was
of the full space shuttle stack on
a stand and (tackily) had orange plastic to simulate the burn of the
booster rockets. I'm not sure if it was

Hi All, first posting here and it starts with a question.

su 27 horizontal stabiliser position question28 Aug 2005 23:23 GMT1
I'm building hasegawa's Su 27.
The horizontal stabilizer "sits" in position leaving very little seem space
in a slight upward angle, if placed horizontally there is a small gap that
would need to be filled.
Display Cases ?28 Aug 2005 23:18 GMT9
I'm fed up with my 72nd & 48th aircraft getting dusty, I was thinking of
putting some in some sort of display case (cases).
What's a good source for such items?
Cheers

answer.
I'm currently solar-bleaching a set of decals in a window, stored in a
Zip-Loc and taped up. The decals aren't too bad, the varnish is

Tech Question28 Aug 2005 03:52 GMT10
Can someone tell me how to reduce the speed of my Dremel motor tool so the
attachments don't melt the plastic but actually cut or sand it?  I tried a
simple dimmer switch from Menards but the tool will only come on when the
dimmer is at full power, as soon as I turn it down the ...
