Paint thinner question21 Aug 2005 17:08 GMT10
Just getting back into model building after many years & new to using an
airbrush. I'm confused about what paint thinners to use with enamel
paints (Testor, Model Master). Are there different grades for airbrush
use, cleaning brushes, and general cleanup? I bought a small bottle ...
Egyptian AirforceTu 16 (again, sorry)21 Aug 2005 03:53 GMT1
I'm gonna be starting on a Tu-16 Badger soon, and decided I was going

found a grand total of one picture online, and one drawing. What
puzzles me now is the colors.
Rivet Counters rejoice!20 Aug 2005 15:05 GMT3
I just received the latest Hannant's e-mail catalog update. There is a
company called Caliber that is now making sets of rivet heads in
different sizes for the ultimate accuracy hounds. Have fun folks!

new airliner design on BBC video19 Aug 2005 19:46 GMT10
Just saw the video on the BBC website. Interesting stuff (minor gripe,
although I could use Solaris and RealPlayer8 plugin in Mozilla for all
videos up to now, this one complained that the player was too old, and
offered to download a Windows executable for me... how silly!).

Hero-gram for Smer customer service18 Aug 2005 21:26 GMT1
Just wanted to publicly congratulate Smer for some outstanding customer
service. I've been making the Inpact 1/48 Bristol Bulldog, and bought the
Smer (ex-Merit) one for the decals, because the Inpact ones were seriously
old. Everything went well until the last (fuselage) ...
