I found this on a GSA web site while searching for the NSN for the
FS-595 sets. It seems to imply that the gov't. will do away with FS
standards & utilize commercial colors.

Sorry for the newbie question, but I have an old Revell Destroyer kit
from 1953 that I want to disassemble. What is the best way to do this?
It is unpainted, but was very sloppily glued together.
Please email me any suggestions you might have.

I've got a couple of fingermarks on my model and I'm now ready to paint it.
What method is best for cleaning prior to painting?
The kit is a 1/72 Fujimi Spitfire (if that makes a difference).
