I've read advice that suggests that the ideal height of a lathe tool
should be just above centre height so that the angle between the
cutting edge and the centre of rotation of the work is 5 degrees above
the horizontal.

I obviously want to make sure that when I build a modle I get as much right
about what I am modeling as I can, in this case the bomb load for a
Lancaster.

I just wanted to let everyone know that the IPMS Region 10 Contest is
happening this weekend in Loveland, Colorado. We will be having a
two-day show, Friday and Saturday, at The Ranch complex located near
the Ft. Collins - Loveland airport. We have rented an 18,000 Sqft.
