Has anyone had a look at this kit? Is it an updated Italeri kit or is it a
re-issue of the horrible eastern express kit?

EN24 Supply26 Sep 2005 12:55 GMT4
I'm pondering a project that starts off with a lump of EN24 roughly
16" x 5" x 2". I have two questions:
Firstly suggested sources that might be happy to supply a piece that
size.
Abwood Vice Handle26 Sep 2005 10:22 GMT7
Anyone got a spare handle (5/8" square) to suit a 4" Abwood milling
vice that they could be persuaded to part with?
I know I can get a new one from Abwood but I don't fancy paying the
£30 + carriage + vat that they want!
Need some figures..26 Sep 2005 08:19 GMT1
I was wondering if there is any 1/32 scale sailors to put on my PT-109? If
there is, let me know or if you got a suggestion for the figures, let me
know..

Academy P-47N25 Sep 2005 17:40 GMT5
The Academy P-47N comes in two versions - 'regular' and 'special'. What
is the difference?
P.S. Why all the P-47 questions? Well to state the obvious, I'm making
the models. (duh) The reason behind the reason is that my father was
Vice types25 Sep 2005 08:20 GMT5
I'm looking for a small vice to use with my little mill, after giving up
with the cheapo drill press vice (the moving jaw kept lifting when it was
tightened against the job). Something with a jaw width of around 2", maybe
2-3" jaw opening, and about 1" jaw height.

My son won something on ebay using my identity (with my approval), I

Mosquito PR 34 bomb bay?24 Sep 2005 17:40 GMT3
So, anybody got a line on a bulged bomb bay for the Australian long range PR
variant in the latest Aeromaster sheet (1/48)? The Airfix kit has the
two-stage merlins and the wing tanks, but how about the bulged bay? I have
fallen deeply in love with the aluminum/PRU blue paint ...

one off project.

UK v USA phase converter for spark eroder24 Sep 2005 01:17 GMT13
I have an old Agemaspark H300 which i am trying to get up and running in
my garage. Due to the control system and spark generator as well as 2
separate 3 phase motors, which are all powered from 1 rather complex
(415v 3 phase, no neutral) transformer, I am looking to build a 3 ...
