I hope I'm not breaking any rules/offending anyone...
Anyways, I bought a job lot of new Bohler precision mini power tools
from a local model store that was closing. I've taken the bits I needed
for my workshop (RC model boats are my bag BTW, 1/48 RN grey tops

What is the purpose of the split in a die? Are split dies somehow better
than unsplit ones?
In my (limited) experience split dies just break more easily, is there an
advantage I am missing?

 I went to the local "Big Lots" store the other day, and found a kit
I've been looking for for a loooong time! Picked up an AMT Fruehauf
Tanker trailer for the exhorbitant price of $3.99!!! I've seen this kit
new for over $40! Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

I would like to build a 6 foot water wheel if possible using plywood. If
someone as a drawing/plans etc this would be helpful. I would pay copy and

Hey all,been spritzin; on my Robocop for a week,I used steel color as
primary coat,from all pictures from Robo,the body shell looks smoother
than steel,was thinking of a overcoat of light glossy gray to tight ti

After milling quite a stack of parts out of a 4kg Sheet of Delrin, I
still have 3kg of Delrin left over, only now it is mostly saw dust.
Since this stuff costs over 15 Euros per kg, I was wondering if I can

The dog got left in the car without taking her lead off a while ago,
