| smoke oil | 31 Oct 2005 01:57 GMT | 7 |
Does anyone know what the oil distillate is, as used in a smoke generator for models? (The smoke is generated by a small heater that vaporises the oil). It is a very thin oil .... and rather expensive buying it via the hobby retail outlets as it is imported from Germany.

I'll be visiting Puerto Rico early November. Does anyone have suggestions regarding modeling or aviation? Shops, museums? I'll be visiting Vieques too, a large part of which was a bombing range, I would like to take a peek, but it appears that part is still a 'no access' area.
