Scratch Building10 Oct 2005 00:29 GMT9
Hey Guys, can someone tell me how to solder brass tubing?  I feel a little
stupid for asking, but I can't make it work for some reason.  Do I need some
special solder, special flux, or what?  My problem is I can't get the solder
to seep down into the joints.
What kit producer reads r.m.s. by the way09 Oct 2005 22:21 GMT6

Are they among us here on r.m.s.?
and if so; do they learn from this or at least listen to this large body of

I need to move a fibreglass plate out the way using only one piston. The
plate will be about 200mm by 100mm, 5mm thick. The plate has to drop down,

USMC LVT Colors?08 Oct 2005 12:10 GMT2
Am thinking about doing the old Airfix Buffalo LVT for a USMC-theme
IPMS club build.  I don't know anything about WW II US armor colors.
Were USMC LVTs the same O.D. as US Army armor?  Anyone have a Testors,
Humbrol, etc. paint recommendation?
