    If you are into modeling W.W.II aircraft in the European Theater

I've read the rec.models.scale FAQ and the discussion on primer (FAQ
Part 17, "What is primer?  Do I have to use it on my models?") and it
pretty much states that priming is an individual choice.

Metric conduit taps are all 1.5 mm pitch, but is eg a 16mm conduit tap the
same as a standard M16 x 1.5 mm tap?
A 16 x 1.5 mm tap (with another useful tap) went for £2.00 on Ebay this
afternoon, and a 16 mm "electricians" conduit tap went for £8.00 a few

I've just completed a Revell Hunter kit. This provided a couple of firsts
for me. It was the first 1/72 aircraft model that I've built since 1985 and
it was the first kit that I've built totally Out Of the Box since I were
nowt but a lad. (I made the 66 Sqn option)

I can tell you guys and girls that if Heller were to release the
Surcouf again, they would make a ton of money in Japan. OK, I
exaggerate, the local distributors would make a ton of money.

Im about to paint model car that I built for a friend, and seem to be
between a rock and a hard place. I ordered some laquer paint in aerosol
cans from MCW. The problem is, I can paint the car and put the
aftermarket decals on it...but the glosscoat is not compatible with the

I'm just going to vent here. My girlfriend is heading off the
Hiroshima today, and Kure tomorrow, on a work trip for her company. In
