I bought, at great expense, a length of that powertwist belting for my Myford Super 7. The installation instructions included said that direction of rotation was determined by an arrow on every tenth link. Unless I've gone blind, I can't see any arrows anywhere. Any clues?

I tried cleaning one of the lenses on the new gauges on my kit car with acetone, as I'd somehow got something sticky on there. The sticky stuff came off OK, but the acetone has left the surface of the lens cloudy and since they are notoriously difficult to replace, I was wondering

I got this lathe a few days ago and have been trying to find out what make and model it is. the tool post says colchester but I can not find a colchester that looks like it. anyone know what it is? have uploaded some pics here

Hmmm, (not me - a friend) managed to strip the teeth on my tumbler gear Have ordered replacements from the famous Marypoppinsbag BUT. I know they are an interferance fit (only because I have been told, no wisdom on my part), but how do I get the old one off to replace it. Do

Im ready to upgrade my digital for general and model-specific photography. Ive been using an Olympus 300 for the last couple of years, and its fine for general photo work (*walkarounds in the hanger, working inside the cockpit, etc) but lacks the ability to dive right in
