I'm going to be repairing a Tamiya tiger built by a young man some
years ago. 15 years ago he became parylised from the neck down in a
motorcycle accident. This Tiger was the last kit he built before his
accident and his brother would like me to fix it so he can give it to

What is the correct method to adjust backlash on the above machine.
On the Y table it is about 15 thou but on the X its about 60 thou.

Can someone tell me who makes/made the aftermarket decal sheet for the
Skyraider.  Im talking about the VA176 plane number 409 with the bee on the
rear fuselage.  It's the same markings that come with the tamiya kit.  Is
this sheet still available?

It's not in the "New" section anymore. Could not find it anywhere.
Been ages since the last one so I guess its no big deal anymore....
Would've been nice to have around as the holidays approach......

Does anyone know where I can get a large scale M113 model
at a reasonable price? So far I have only located 2 stores
with the above model and they both want a fortune for it.

I can get my head round optical encoders but how do the cheep Chinese
callipers work having taken a few apart to clean it seems to be a line of
dots/holes? running at about 45 deg
and the markings on the calliper have no affect because on one set I have

who made that kit.  anyone recall if the reviews were postive?

Has anyone got plans for a small toolmakers vice to put on my surface
grinder.
this vice has to have the jaw clamp bolt ...that goes
diagonal..........so pulling the jaw down instead of lifting it .

In a recent posting, I referred to a review of the Revell 1/72 Hunter F6 as
saying that the wing extensions should extend 5mm further inboard and the
outer pylons should be moved inboard by the same amount.  The November issue

Hullo again. Big problem, I am dead in the water re: building models. I
stopped an few months ago now and just cannot get started again. I have
tried different mods, but just cn't get enthusiastic (maybe should try
euthanized). Real shame is it's about the only thing I enjoyed :( ...
