Gearing up to build the 1/72 Revell (Hasegawa) GR.7 kit and looking for

Converting BT30 to QC3027 Oct 2005 17:44 GMT5
I have an idea there was some discussion touching on this a while ago
(Andrew?), but can't find it by looking back.
I've just successfully modified a BT30/ER32 collet chuck to be close

's F-16's27 Oct 2005 13:34 GMT1
I recently purchased Superscale's F-16 sheet of the NM ANG "Taco's".
There is a problem with the sheet I hope someone can help me out with.
The plane on the sheet is 87-310.  What block is this plane, a -30 or -40?
The sheet says the plane is 86-0224 a -30 small intake GE engine.

Seriously, is there anything that strikes you when you look at kits at shows
or from your own experience, that might apply - some little known tip or
what have you.  Not looking for Colonel Sanders secret recipe for model

Tool Cutter Grinder27 Oct 2005 00:15 GMT7
Hi all, having got fed up with looking for a mill thought I would
actually try and make something useful. Keen to have some sort of
Cutter Grinder so thought I would have a go at something like the one
JS has suggested (if he doesn't mind). I already have an old (unused)

WTB: 1-1.5hp Single Phase Motor26 Oct 2005 22:32 GMT10
That will be suitable for my Eagle grinder. Foot mount, 1400-ish rpm,
ideal shaft size would be 5/8" but if not I can bore the existing
pulley.
Anybody have one I can liberate for reasonable beer tokens, or who

Do you drill 1/72 gun? I mean a shallow (I imagine 3mm would be enough)

I've read about this in a modelling book but I think it referred to 1/35
models.
