Well I re-sprayed over the staining, and made the wash look a little bit better...it really does look like a dirty a/c now heh. I also sprayed a coat of future over the IL-2. Next on the agenda is to weather the plane with pastels, and of course mask the canopy so i can

When you cut something, how does a zero or negative rake work? Zero rake I can understand - flat work surface, blade downward pressure distorts the surface, the surface which is then immediately presented to the edge is "higher" than the edge, and thus gets cut.

Does anyone know what the 'compensator' circuits of portable spot welders is and how they achieve their objective? I know (from adverts) that they are supposed to compensate for slight contamination of the sheets with oil and paint and are recommended for use with galvanised

Back in the early 80's (before I graduated High School in '83), I built a 1/24 scale Spitfire and 1/24 scale BF-109E. Any idea if these are still around or who might have made them? I took them to college, put them in a Combat Air Patrol above my desk, and they were destroyed ...
