Eric Smith had 20 points to lead Campbell to an 86-80 victory Saturday
over Mercer. With 3:23 remaining in the second half, Smith hit one of
his six 3-pointers to cut Mercer's lead to 78-74. That shot started a
15-2 run by the Camels in which they hit six of their last seven field
Which Lathe Arc Euro Trade C6 or Warco WM-25018 Dec 2005 12:58 GMT20
I'm looking to purchase a Lathe and having looked at all the option
between 2nd hand Boxfords, Myfords etc. vs new Asian Lathes, I'v
decided to go for a new Asian Lathe.
Unfortunately budget is a restraining factor so I can't go for a ne

Ques regarding the Chopper by NWSL18 Dec 2005 00:47 GMT8
Got one of these a while ago. Worked great. Unfortunately the particle board
base has developed a nasty gouge where the blade contacts it making cuttung
difficult.
NWSL wants 16.95 for a replacement base of the same material.

As I was trawling through eBay I came across a couple of auctions in Poland
for resin kits to convert Bilek MiG-21s into experimental prototypes:

FA: SF, space, a/c kits18 Dec 2005 00:07 GMT1
Yes, that's right, I've gone back to eBay for the "holiday shopping
season."  I obtained a lot of kits recently including the Narcissus,
Space Jockey and Nostromo from Alien, the Aries 1B from 2001: A Space
Odyssey, space kits including the MPC Pilgrim Observer Space Station,

Iraq...Tall Afar Modelers17 Dec 2005 17:26 GMT3
In the Fine Scale Modeler Forum area, there is a request from Cpt. Dave
Wallace for acrylic paints, paint brushes, and some snap-tite kits.  I
guess they have received a lot of kits from one of the IPMS chapters
but are still in need of painting supplies.  It sounds like the
10 mm collets17 Dec 2005 17:02 GMT5
Can anyone suggest where I might buy 10 mm collets (sometimes known as D
collets) to suit my old Pultra clock makers lathe? The only possibility I
could find on Google was lathes.co.uk so I have placed an enquiry there, but
all other leads have drawn a blank.
Hobby disaster - 1/96 USS Constitution instruction sheet17 Dec 2005 16:15 GMT5
A hail stone the size of a cricket ball has ruined my hobby weekend - I
have lost most of the pages due to wind and rain.
The kit number is 05602 2000 release - does anyone have a scan of the
instructions?
who was askiing about Heidenhain plugs?17 Dec 2005 12:46 GMT1
Recently someone was asking about plugs for heidenhain scales?
Just emptied one of my sheds to replace it with  a bigger one!   and
discovered some encoder cables from a Bridgeport interact I broke up.
There are plugs on them.
Source of Imperial oil seals?17 Dec 2005 10:33 GMT5
I need to replace some seals on an Alexander T&C grinder I'm
rebuilding.  In both cases the seals operate on sliding shafts, and are
to keep grinding dust out of cast iron bearings.
Sizes are 1 1/4 OD, 15/16 ID, 5/32 thick, and 3/4 OD, 3/8 ID, 5/32
Heller Mirage III C/B17 Dec 2005 09:50 GMT1
The instructions for this kit # 80411 shows the interior color of the
exhaust/burner can, to be Army Green. Can this be right? Seems like it
should be burnt metal or something else. Any ideas?
Thanks
Odd ball request for supplier info - door seal17 Dec 2005 02:51 GMT7
Slightly odd request, but I am sure someone may have a answer as I am
looking for a high temperature seal, my In-laws have a old gas cooker
(estimate around 35 - 40 yrs) and the oven door seal is now getting too
worn to effect a good air tight seal.
OTish: a silly bit of metrication17 Dec 2005 02:42 GMT22
As part of the day job, tomorrow I have to drill about 100 holes for
12mm bolts  through 7" thickness of hardwood, with counterbores at
each end.
Wood bits until fairly recently came in imperial sizes, in fact some
