Is there anyone out there that might have a Galaxy Aero sedan or sedan
delivery inline six that you haven't used or is just laying around

Douglas XCG-1712 Jan 2006 16:34 GMT28
As you all probably know the XCG-17 was the C-47 converted to a
motorless glider.  Seems like an easy kit conversion - maybe?  Would
anyone know where and how the towing cable[s] attached to the XCG-17?  I
noted 'cables' in the previous sentence as the XCG-17 was designed to be

A-12 Shrike12 Jan 2006 04:01 GMT1
I am building the Czech Model A-12 Shrike kit and I have some
questions.  Where did the A-12s stow their bombs? What was a typical
bomb load?  the drawings with the kit and the photographs I have seen

More DC-3/C-4712 Jan 2006 02:58 GMT4
All the recent discussion regarding DC-3/C-47's have
energized me to put it into high-gear, with building
the several that are in progress.  I found a really
nice reference site:
Monogram 1/48 B-24D or B-24J - Part Needed12 Jan 2006 02:24 GMT1
Well, it was only a matter of time. My newly set up model-building room
managed to "eat" a part from my B-24D. I don't even have a rug!!!! Has
anyone ever heard of a vinyl floor eating a part? :-(

How to paint a flashlight11 Jan 2006 05:32 GMT5
How do You paint a tank light (flashlight)? I tried to paint it white and
then cover by slightly dirty gloss coat (used gloss smoke paint).
To bo honest I hate the result - though my wife like it :)
I think about using metal paint , then gloss coat. Is it OK?
