MPC Atari (van/car) models?30 Jan 2006 02:12 GMT2
MPC made a line of (snap) model kits based on Atari games,
and I've managed to find Battlezone and Missile Command, but
are there any others?  I couldn't find anything on Google,
possibly due to not being able to find a good search string...
Looking for a 1/48 scale WW-II ambulance29 Jan 2006 22:00 GMT9
I normally don't do vehicles but am thinking of an aircraft mini-diorama
with a shot-up WW-II US aircraft (will probably be a B-17 but haven't
decided, based on the space that will be available to display it) on the
airfield with a typical WW-II ambulance beside it.  Does anyone ...
Myford Super 7 Speeds29 Jan 2006 18:59 GMT1
What's the top speed that a Super 7 can be run at?
The standard top speed is 2105 rpm. With 60Hz our colonial cousins get
2525 rpm according to the manual. How much further can it be pushed
before bearing trouble beckons? Inverters let us think this way.
Decal paper29 Jan 2006 16:44 GMT5

printer yet, that is available in the UK.
Opinions / Academy F-16CJ Block 50 Fighting Falcon 1/3229 Jan 2006 16:38 GMT4
My local HL just got the Academy F-16CJ Block 50 Fighting Falcon 1/32
Scale, in today.  The manager here will hold whatever I want for the
50% off sale.  That would get the price down to about 50 bucks with
tax.  I don't know much about this kit and was looking for opinions
Bib Boy Decal29 Jan 2006 13:32 GMT2
The other day someone posted a source for the Revell 1/87 scale Big- Boy
locomotive.  At that time, I wasn't particularly interested but, yesterday I
picked up one of the kits at a very reasonable price.  Now I need that info
and didn't save it earlier.  Could whomever posted it ...
B-24s Painting Question29 Jan 2006 01:28 GMT6
Got a problem. I am building a B-24D and a B-24J.  Two of my sources
indicate that the wheel wells should be painted either green zinc
chromate or the underside color (neutral gray). Which is more likely
accurate.

A question about a model28 Jan 2006 22:05 GMT3
Hi all - I'm just putting the finishing touches on a Heinkel He.280v.4
in 1:72 that I bought off eBay and I'm curious about the kit. Its
resin, well-formed with good detail and the wings and fuselage are
molded as one unit. The canopy is vacuum-formed. The seller stated that

on the publisher of Model Engineer magazine, Highbury House?
According to several sources, example

Boot Hill Express28 Jan 2006 19:34 GMT3
Thought I would ask in here, does anyone happen to have by chance the
headers from the Boot Hill Express. I was given this kit with parts missing.
The price was right, free. I have collected all the parts to build it minus
the headers. I even got the skeleton for the kit. But the ...
1/72 Airliner support28 Jan 2006 14:40 GMT3
Does anyone make support equipment for 1/72nd scale airliners?  I'm most
interested in boarding stairs, tow vehicles, baggage carts, etc. for a
possible diorama with a DC-6B and/or a Boeing 707.
Thanks,
