James Garner and Donald Pleasance (sp?) appeared in the movie Great Escape, and flew a German Trainer. Single engine, low wing, side by side trainer with a large greenhouse canopy. Can anyone identify this aircraft?

a short time ago there was some discussion about the emhar ww1 stuff. i ordered a 1/35 mrkiv male and the hermaph. i seem to remeber the tracks being cited as crapola. is there a solution? were there any other areas of contention.
