Yes this would be the Manned Nuclear Interplanetary Vehicle. This is for
the old Strombecker Manned Space Kit #-D38.
Was this based on an actual Convair Plan for an actual Space Craft or
just a bunch of concept drawings. I have looked on the web and can't

I have just bought a load of relays to begin the signalling of the
Lackham Museum and Woodland Railway (see www.lmandwr.co.uk).
They mount on DIN rail.
Any body got half a metre of DIN rail spare?
Warning about Revell Tiger 1/7230 Mar 2006 15:30 GMT3
Do not trust the instructions! At least when it comes to the tracks.

Two issues:
- the mid length pieces (4,5 and 6 link length) are put in wrong places

"New" HAWK Models30 Mar 2006 06:20 GMT1
I was at the hobby shop today and four kits with the "HAWK Models" logo
caught my eye.  Yes, this is the same HAWK Models from the '60s.  The
four kits were similiar to the "Weird-Ohs" type kits and featured
teenagers from the '60s in humorous settings in some way connected with
Airbrush question30 Mar 2006 06:00 GMT6
I won a Hobbico 945 dual action airbrush at the local hobby shop. This
is a mixed blessing because it came with an air hose, but no connectors.
Even more mixed is the fact that the air hose suppiled and that fits on
the airbrush ilooks like it came off a bycycle tire pump. This ...
1/72 SR-71, YF-12 exhausts, what size is correct??30 Mar 2006 00:00 GMT1
I've got a stack of YF-12s & SR-71s sitting here. Many, many years

Monogram kit, (their regular one with the drone). Those exhausts are

Acme Inserts29 Mar 2006 10:02 GMT11
Any suggestions as to where I can get acme threading inserts? I need
10pti, single lead but J & L don't seem to stock them.
Beyond J&L I'm sticking a virtual pin on map by randomly selecting
from Google.
Where is everyone?29 Mar 2006 03:39 GMT34
Boy, this group has sure been shrinking!  Today I only found 21 new
messages. I can remember when the daily message count was 150-200.  It
can't be everyone is out doing summer-like things.
