Been dabbling in WWI planes a bit. I have The Blue Max and love the reproduction aircraft. Can anyone recommend other movies with reasonably good aerial combat scenes from WWI? I'm hoping I don't have to go all the way back to those early '30s flix. Maybe something with Spads or ...

I just got a Maho 700 milling machine, there does appear to be a drive problem with the feed gearbox, does anyone have experience od these or have more detailed info about the drive system? It is NOT the shearpin that is intact, in fact we get no drive out of

ISTR a site or book handicapping WWII USN fighters like the Corsair, Hellcat, Wildcat, etc, against WWII Luftwaffe fighters like the FW 190 & Me 109, since they didn't actually meet each other in combat (or did the RN do so?) I've googled & can't find anything. Anyone else recall

Do a google search for the movie Fly Boys, currently being filmed. This is the story of the Lafayette Escadrille, and I have seen photos on the net of the replica Nieuport 17's being used, they look quite realistic. I believe it will be released sometime this year.

I am building a 5 inch gauge Simplex 0-6-0. The build book has nothing on quartering the wheels so I have a few qustions. I understand that one side is 90 degrees behind the other. Is there a convention that the right or left side leads?
