Stug IIIB Interior question08 Mar 2006 04:08 GMT2
Does anyone here know what color I should paint the interior of my Tamiya
Stug IIIB?  Is the color called for in the instruction sheet correct, or
should I use some other color?  I have Panzer Interior Buff(light tan),
which I think is more for late war vehicles than early war.
too many kits?08 Mar 2006 03:30 GMT21
Hi Troops:

both on here and on Hyperscale. Someone posted a comment about it being

My father passed away on Feb. 6th at the age of 56 and I have inherited
his collection of scale models.  He has a website that has the majority
of his collection on it (it won't let me update the site so I can't
remove items that have been sold), but anyway, the site can be viewed

Aircraft Modelers:  Do You Recognize This?08 Mar 2006 00:39 GMT3
If you can tell me what kit this strut might be from, I'd really
appreciate it!  I've been trying to ID it and I am totally stumped.  It
doesn't seem to match the configuration of any aircraft gear I've seen.

Best Cutaway Sub Model?07 Mar 2006 23:33 GMT3
I'm interested in building a cutaway sub model...something I've never
done...and to top it off, I'm mostly a model car builder so I'm not
very familiar with what kits would fit the bill.
The kit doesn't have to currently be in production...I don't mind
Paint blobs still?07 Mar 2006 16:43 GMT11
I recently bought a moisture trap for my compressor and tried painting
while it was raining outside. I still get a paint blob after a few
hours of painting. What's the deal with this? the moisture still formed
after where the trap was installed.
Clementine07 Mar 2006 12:28 GMT2
Does anyone here remember 'Clementine'? I'm sure she got her foot stuck in
her eyebrow, but the songs on the web say different.

I Got My Capsule! 07 Mar 2006 04:32 GMT1
I finally got the Atomic City Mercury Capsule today at Hobby Lobby.
Used the 40% off online coupon.
It doesn't look half bad.  It's a nice fun size.  Would love to put a
Redstone under it.  Also glad they included a nice size figure to put in it.

Hi, all.
I recently bought a cast resin model of a gun (the M41a Pulse Rifle
from Aliens.
Paid a pretty penny for it, too.
MIG welders selection advice sought06 Mar 2006 19:40 GMT4
Looking for a MIG welder rated about 150A; I need to be able to weld
aluminium so the no-gas types are out.
There seem to be a number of machines that fit the bill including SIP
Migmate and Clarke Turbo machines but there's been a lot of discussions
