What life can be expected from a long-case
clock if the pinions are made from unhardened
steel, either mild steel which has not been
case-hardened, or tool steel in its annealed state?

    It seems I'm behind the eight ball on this but is there anyone/anyplace
that has any of these sets available?  Some retailers tell me they
expect orders to be filled in a couple weeks and others tell me
Waldron's gone and no more are available.

In my search for pinout identification of a couple of Braemar tape
readers kindly lent by P Forbes a very nice chappie in Denmark has sent
me full electrical schematics for the whole machine.All nicely drawn by
NEE in 1984.So if anyone is stuck....It`s a 21meg pdf.

I'm working on a Meteor 1/48th PB4Y-2 Privateer conversion, and need some
assistance on references.
I am replaceing the Monogram R-1830's with more accurate R-1830's from
Engines 'N Things.
