ML7 Pulley Sleeve Gear28 Mar 2006 22:36 GMT2
Made an interesting discovery when I pulled apart the old spindle on
my ML7 tonight. Unless I'm mistaken (always possible with me..) it
appears that the sleeve has been fitted 180 degrees out of position as
the oil ingress hole is exactly opposite the nipple rather than being
UK supply of wheels/tyres28 Mar 2006 22:34 GMT5

Looking for 1/48 SRAM or B-61 nukes28 Mar 2006 21:49 GMT1
I'd like to get a pair of 1/48 AGM-69A SRAM or B-61 bombs for my
FB-111A. The SRAMs came with Revell's B-1, and I believe the B-61s came
with Testor's F-117.
Does anyone have a pair of either that they would part with?
Airbrush Moisture Issue28 Mar 2006 20:39 GMT5
I've long had a problem with my Iwata Eclipse HP-BCS airbrush in that on
cool days where the humidity is a bit up, I get water build-up inside the
front end of the airbrush in the fluid nozzle and nozzle cap which then
spatters out the nozzle while I'm painting as clear water ...
Acrylics for Phantom II, was Tamiya Paints28 Mar 2006 19:52 GMT3
As there are apparently no bottled equivalents for Tamiya's AS -13, -14,
or -15, does anyone know of the best bottled acrylics for Vietnam era USAF
green, olive green, or tan?  Or better yet, any of the right colors for a
Vietnamese era camouflaged Phantom II?

Painting tight spots28 Mar 2006 03:35 GMT10
Can anyone give me any tips on how to paint parts with raised areas?
One example I'm trying to paint a car's brake assembly. The brake disk,
hub and calibers all have different colors. But how do I paint it so
that the paint doesn't run over each other?
IPMS shake up28 Mar 2006 02:21 GMT14
Hey. I see the IPMS had a house cleaning, they got rid of a lot of
deadwood and fat cats who did nothing.
Now, if they can only manage to figure out how to manage their money,
so they dont go tits up.
3rd party model parts?28 Mar 2006 01:42 GMT2
As I was reading through some tutorials about model techniques I came
across mentions of "this part was replaced by xxx brand" and so on.
I've seen at the local store 3rd party decals and figures but 3rd party
plastic car parts? How would I know this part fits to what model or if
JCB 3CX27 Mar 2006 23:45 GMT2

3CX for sale? Idealy 4wd with extradig and a 4 in 1 bucket with pallet
forks - preferably piped for a breaker.
