Thinned Oils over Enamels26 Mar 2006 05:33 GMT6
After a long break from modeling, Im now back and a lot of things have
changed.
I used to use Enamels for everything, but have been experimenting Quite
successfully (UNTIL TONITE) with oils for washing and painting certain parts
House of Kolor paint at WalMart?26 Mar 2006 05:18 GMT9
I noticed that WalMart now carries House of Kolor paints instead of the
Testors brand.
I've never heard of this brand and a little web surfing seems to
indicate that they originated in the auto industry.  I wasn't able to
File a plated part?26 Mar 2006 04:56 GMT2
I'm currently assembling a Fast and furious Toyota Supra kit. Normally
I'd file some flush off parts with it. However, I cannot seem to figure
out how to take them off plated parts. Is there a way to get rid of
these flush off plated parts?

Hi Troops:
I have my agitator's hat on tonight. Lets have a poll on what is the
stupidest show on TV. My vote is for "Wifeswap"!

Aurora Chinese Junk25 Mar 2006 22:54 GMT7
How many here remember this kit. What scale was it made in.  I seem to
think it was 1/48 does that sound right.  Was it ever re-issued under
Monogram or any other brand.  Just how hard is it to find one of these

I am looking for decal sheets for WWII military prop aircraft in 1/72

Can anyone recommend suitable sheets for Dutch, Czech, Polish and
Lost - PanAm B314 Clipper Instructions25 Mar 2006 18:32 GMT3
Not only does my carpet swallow small pieces that fall onto it, the
instructions sheet for my PanAm B-314 Clipper (by Minicraft Model Kits
in 1/144 scale, kit number 14503) has also been gobbled up by the
pesky carpet.  If anyone out there has these instructions and can scan

Can anyone tell me if someone makes a set of WWII French markings for
armored vehicles.
Thanks
Dragon Ta 15425 Mar 2006 03:03 GMT5
Does anyone know if this  kit is out anywhere yet? If so has someone
had a chance to look at it for comparison to the Revellogram kit. I
wonder if its like most Dragon kits which are nice looking in the box
but somewhat of a bear to build? Also does anyone know who actually did
USAF SEA camo25 Mar 2006 02:33 GMT2
I'm currently building an RF-4C in USAF SEA camo. This is the first time in
over 25 years that I've built something in that colour scheme.  (It's also
the first time that I've been satisfied with the colour of the FS30219
paint - this time I mixed my own!)
F-4B slatted tailplane25 Mar 2006 02:20 GMT12
I'm just gearing up for a major - and I mean *major* - Phantom phrenzy.  I'm
going to be using the Hasegawa 1/72 kits.
I have plans for three F-4Js, but there are currently none in the Hasegawa
range. Instead, I shall use the F-4C/D which is due to be re-released
Osprey MV-2224 Mar 2006 21:18 GMT36
Got the new Popular Science today (April 06 issue).  There was a 2 page
blurb on the MV-22.  Is the Italeri Ospery a reasonable representation
of this aircraft?  Also, there was a nice 2 page color picture of the
cockpit for the Airbus A380.  All in all, it is one of Popular Science
