Hi again folks.   Well I took a chance.  Found a 1/72 B-52
Stratofortress at local thrift store.  $3.99, great deal.
The kit was never started.  However, when I got it home I
did an inventory with the instructions and discovered that

I am getting reacquainted with making models after a 30 year break. ;-)
I just got a 1/72 Tamiya kit for a Spitfire.  It looks beautiful
compared to the Airfix models I've been used to.  There's only one
drawback: no pilot!  What's my best course of action here?  I'd like to

brought back some childhood memories when I saw a pic of an early
1960's Indy car race. I've always
loved the oval grill look and the big tires with no fairings, etc....
anyone know if models were made of that era of cars?

Having to correct some parts of my last posting.
I have a Harrison M300 lathe in my garage.
Having serious problems with the Feed gears  ("ABC", "RST", "WXY");
as they do not engage.   Does anyone have experience this ?

One of my fav a/c is the XP-81. There's not a lot of info out there,

does anybody use machinery's handbook? if so could yo please give me
the serial for the cd accompanying the book? we have been given some
assignments for gear design but we are stuck due to lack of resources.

just caught the new episode of Monk on USA network- about tracking down a
homicidal test pilot- lots of cool footage shot up at Edwards, F-16 test
birds, an F-22 prototype, T-6A's , definitely worth watching!
