I got a demand to finish an model with polyester.
To have a better idea about the finish here is link of a picture of a
chair with the required finish:

This was one of those ''futurustic'' concept cars that came out in the
70s,looked like an El Camino/Van.On the bottom of the box there was a
AMT logo,so,guess what?. I've not seen a MPC in awhile.

I know that this is just about as good a chance as winning the lottery,
but is anyone out there parting out one of these kits? I'm in need of
one of the clear parts and Revell of Germany has told me no luck.
Anyway thought it might be worth a shot.

Anyone have a suggested ratio for thinning water- or oil-based paints for
use with an air brush?

I'm working on an old Airfix 1/20 scale corvette offered by a friend
who began it very badly.
Well, if I redo it completely, I will transform it like a '80 street
rod.

I need propellers from either a Monogram/Revell B-17.  Eventually I
need a total of 8 props (preferably unpainted) but I'll take them in
smaller numbers too. I need to put them on the Monogram C-47 to depict
Vietnam era aircraft. The props with the kit are WWII types, IIRC.

I built the Trumpeter HH-65 kit. I had some decals custom made to depict
one of the HH-65s at the USCG air base at LAX, & I have several sets
left. If anybody wants a set, let me know by e-mail. No charge. Use the
existing decals except for these staion specific ones. The set ...

Does anyone have the Monogram A-1H Sky Raider kit No. 5454, that can
scan the instructions and email them to me? I sure would appreciate it.

Was going through the garage and found some small drawer cabinets, like
the ones used for screws, washers, and nuts. They contained numerous
bottles of model paint that I used back in the late 70s. There must have
been around 75 bottles. Most have dried up and some had caked ...

    Centre drill are often used as spotting drills in the lathe
but there's a pretty wild mismatch between center drill point
angles and the the usual jobber drill that follows. Special
spotting drills are produced for NC use at about three times the
