I’ve got by so far on a hotchpotch of ‘sandpaper’, an old sharpening stone of dubious heritage and other bits and bobs. I notice that J&L industries are having a ‘30% off abrasives’ sale and I thought I’d treat myself to some better supplies and kit.

I have a problem with gloss finishes, most of the time I get a "satin" finish or a mixture.. Different mixture % don't seem to help, is there a matter of air pressure? amount of paint? distance from the model? opening of the nozzle?

Im using the top of the range Revell airbrush, cost me nowt but i think it was the £150ish top model. Im using a can of air. It has a push down and pull back trigger, when i do use it i only pushed it

How can you thin these paints to use with the Airbrush. And can they be thinned by using regular Alcohol like the kind you get from the Drug Store. I would like to spray some green paint onto a few dried flower things to make them look more like foliage for a diorama.
