I read an article in which the author described how he achieved a "mirror finish" in polishing the plastic for a bare metal paint scheme. He mentioned that he used a Dremel tool with a cotton polishing tip. The result looked great. What are the pros and cons of polishing, using

so I've been talking about unloading all my old mags...have not touched a kit in almost 2 years, (bought quite a few though).....found other hobbies that interest me and have spent a small fortune on it (guitars and saxes)

What putty do you guys use? I have always used Squadron green putty but it takes so frickin' long to dry. Is there any better stuff that doesn't take days to dry, even if it is a non-putty filler?
