I've just done some precision drilling (at least it's precision for me!), and what I really needed is one of those XY compound tables/vices so that I could move the workpiece precisely under the drill. The ones I've seen listed in the Clarke's catalogue (cross travel vices) weigh ...

| Kits for sale... | 10 May 2006 11:45 GMT | 18 |
I have recently decided to sell off most of my model collection ( I don't build as fast as I used to :-). Below is the first big chunk of stuff I'm parting with ( I'll be posting a new list in a few weeks's time ); I've put the armor and figure stuff first , and if anybody's ...

Does anyone have a Dremel multitool, and could they tell me the length/diameter/pitch of the spindle thread? It may be imperial as these things are American, and around 7mm/0.275" dia. Reason is, I found a little dremel 3-pin chuck - just right for a

| Money for more models!! | 09 May 2006 23:47 GMT | 1 |
Seriously no scams! This method really does work and is a very easy way to make fast money. A little while back, I was looking on the web for easy ways to make money and I kept thinking that all of the ways I was reading would never work and were just scams but not this one! The

For a Lister model A I need to replace one with a stripped thread , the petrol overflow thing, that screws into the base of the carb, just like the the inlet one but with a open top. Does any one has one to swap for beer tokens or known where I can pick one up? Hope this makes

| Making injection pump spindles? | 09 May 2006 20:04 GMT | 12 |
I need to sort out a poorly Crossley diesel injection pump. I have 3 spare pump bodies at my disposal, one with the pump plunger seized in place (don't yet know how badly), two with no plunger. The one on the engine is leaking too much, presumably past the plunger, to reliably

Anyone know where I could get hold of some of this - it's for a car air intake system, so doesn't have to be seamless or particularly strong.
