| Anodising | 08 May 2006 22:39 GMT | 3 |

| How's my math? And scratchbuilding a 1/350 helicopter? | 08 May 2006 21:31 GMT | 8 |
1. I have a 1/350 scale model USN Cruiser. I want to scratch build a 1/350 Piasecki HUP-2 helicopter, circa late 1950s, to sit on the back of the ship (I don't really want to scratch build it, but there is no 1/350 scale HUP-2 out there).

Does anyone know with certainty what colour the USAF lettering on natural metal finished aircraft was? For years, some kits supplied dark blue lettering for the USAF wing marking and UNITED STATES AIR FORCE fuselage marking whilst others supplied black.

| Seeking suggestions for good figure painting book... | 07 May 2006 19:18 GMT | 1 |
A long time ago I posted a request for a good guide to figure painting. Several folks replied, and recommended one by Shep Paine. It was regarded as the best of its kind, but sadly I've been unsuccessful in my search for it. Apparently it is out of print now, and the rare times I

With the recent, ongoing thread on inverters, could I chip in and ask a couple of questions concerning three phase wiring please? 1. If wiring up a 4-pin three phase plug/socket, is there an analogous mnemonic to a 240v plug (bLue, left, bRown, right, etc.)? The
