British European green for a Crusader AA05 May 2006 19:47 GMT3
I am building the Italeri Crusader AA OOTB. Can anyone suggest:
- What are the most obvious problems to be fixed that can be fixed
easily.
- What color do you suggest? I don't really want to mess with my
Which Color?05 May 2006 19:12 GMT31
I am starting a new project and I would like to paint my model car with
the Maryland State Police colors

Looking at the website above, what color would you say I should use
Spray Painting over White05 May 2006 14:32 GMT6
I am newbie police car modeler, and I am going to attempt my first
repaint of an entire car. The car is painted all white, and I was
wondering how well the finished product would be if I were to paint
over the current white paint.

AEW / Denford Viceroy Milling machine questions05 May 2006 11:04 GMT3
I recently got a long term loan of the above milling machine i
exchange for storage. However I don't know that much about it so wa
hoping someone here might be able to help. It's a vertical miller
with knee type head - the table rises on a dovetail towards the head.
Attitudes to modelling05 May 2006 10:55 GMT29
I have just put the finishing touches to my RF-4C model.
I am about to embark on a major F-4 modelling spree in 1/72, using eleven
Hasegawa kits. Before I started, I thought that I would "get my hand in" by
building an old Esci kit that has been sat in my Deep Stash for over twenty
Hasegawa F1505 May 2006 03:13 GMT2
Did anyone build hasegawa's 1/48 F15 A/C "IDF", #09471? Any obvious
flaws I need to keep in mind.
PS: and if you did, were you also a bit baffled at the lack of
ordnance? There's a table with different loads it can carry, but you
a general request for advice or assistance05 May 2006 03:09 GMT1
I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this message, but hope
someone here might be able to point me in the right direction. I am a
fine art grad student at Goldsmiths College in London. My work is quite
varied, and up to now I have been doing all the design-work myself,
Paragon Resin Sets04 May 2006 18:00 GMT2
I'm confused about the status of Paragon. From some quarters I'm
hearing that they are out of business. Then again, I've seen posts that
they are still in business -- sort of.
Does anyone know the real story? If they did go out of business, did
ML7 headstock pulley04 May 2006 16:48 GMT14
I plan to do a Poly-Vee belt conversion on my ML7 but don't
particularly want to have to dismantle the headstock every time I want
to measure something while | am making the new pulley. So I am on the
scrounge for an old ML7 pulley in exchange for a suitable number of
ptfe saddle modification04 May 2006 16:47 GMT5
I seem to remember recently reading about someone putting thin
ptfe/teflon sheet on their saddle with double-sided tape; I fancied
having a go at this, but despite trying many search combinations of the
relevant words I can't find the blummin' topic thread. I can't believe
Engineering evening course in Southampton/Winchester area04 May 2006 15:16 GMT1
I've put a couple of notes up about this recently. The current situation
is that 6 people have registered but they need a total of 10-16 before
the course can run.
I think it's fairly typical for these engineering courses: access to the
Pactra Paint Chart04 May 2006 12:47 GMT5
I just posted the chart over on abms.  It's kind of faded but I can read
it on my monitor here.

Does anyone know whether there is a web-site or other resource that has
a comprehensive list of which manufacturers have used or bought other
manufacturer's moulds?
F-302 kit?04 May 2006 07:45 GMT3
I see that Superscale have just released a decal sheet for a California ANG
F-16.  That means I can build the jet that was featured in a recent episode
of Stargate SG-1.
Does anyone produce a 1/72 kit of the F-302? It would look good sat next to
