Gentlefolk,
Back in November 2005, I posted a request for information on making the

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is having its annual Open House on

would recommend you visit. See 1:1 models of the Mars Rovers, the
Galileo and Cassini spacecraft and more. Admission is free and so is

The engineering workshop "course" restarted tonight at Eastleigh tech -

evenings, 6-9, access to usual machines with 2 tutors. Cost is £86 per
term (I think), including materials.
Got my Airfix TSR 2 in the USA02 May 2006 12:29 GMT10
I saw this almost mythical kit at Colpar Hobbies in Denver, CO on
Friday and picked one up for $33.98.  They had a few left today.
Apparently these weren't obtained through the "normal" distribution
channels.  I was wondering if any of these kits would make it into the

Instructions Needed02 May 2006 01:09 GMT11
Same old story - picked up a kit at my local model club meeting - seems
complete, but no instructions.
It's a 1/72 ME 262 B (2 seat)  - Gray plastic, raised panel lines, 4

Couriers - MiIdy OT01 May 2006 23:14 GMT18
Can anyone reccomend a good parcel/courier company for UK movements of
parcels in the 20-50KG territory?
Price rather than speed is of the essence. Stuff will be boxed not
palletised.

Midwest Little CAP 23201 May 2006 20:27 GMT1
Is anyone out here building the Midwest Little CAP 232 61 inch
wingspan?  I am rebuilding the wing, but I do not have any ribs to get
a form from.  I have the full plans of the wing and fuselage.  But it
does not show the measurements.  If anyone is building this kit,  can
Research help wanted01 May 2006 16:53 GMT1
I am trying to make models of the aircraft flown by the 318th Fighter
Group during WWII. My father was supply officer for the 73rd and later
the entire 318th.
The Thunderbold thing is taken care of.

This is crossposted between model engineering and radio-control.air.
I am in the latter stages of completing a new model workshop which now needs
fitting with storage units.  The main bench is done, worktops around the
edges need to be made, but the purpose of this post is this: I ...
