Quorn, anyone?11 Jul 2006 13:42 GMT13
Just playing mindgames!
I got the nice book "The Quorn" by Prof. Chaddock recently (thanks again
Martin) and read all my way through it. Very promissing, very flexible!
But I didn't find anything about it's capacity. Looking at the collets
USS Olympia11 Jul 2006 01:54 GMT4
I just contacted Revell and we talked about plans to re-introduce their
large scale clippers again along with current frigates being geared up for
large 'scale' production.

Color for southern California tan?11 Jul 2006 01:35 GMT11
I need a color for a good SoCal tan, say for a strawberry blonde bimbette
that spends all her days basking in the sunshine.  Whilst we're on that
subject, how about a color combination for strawberry blonde?

A Blast from the Past10 Jul 2006 21:08 GMT9
Recently, I have been visiting my parents. My Deep Stash is located in their
attic, as are a number of models which I built over twenty years ago. They
were all packed carefully away and stored when I was posted out to Germany
in 1985 (I used to be in the RAF). That was the last ...
Bird dog10 Jul 2006 20:17 GMT11
I bought a piper cub with the intention of making it into a L-19 bird
dog.  I want to do it in an Air Force Gray scheme with maybe a shark
mouth on the front.  Does anyone know where I can get some photos of
the recon plane with this kind of scheme?  Thank a lot.

Does anyone know where I can get a design for (or buy) a two-roller file
rest suitable for a ML7, to create the occasional square on a shaft?
Any information will be warmly welcomed.

Help Viewing Long Topics10 Jul 2006 16:30 GMT21
I know I'm a bit of a luddite but I tend to view this forum via
Google (I know, I know don't shout). One of the annoying things is
that it always opens topics on the first post and I have to click
through to find the latest offerings. Anyone know how I can set it up
Ebay item 30000219381810 Jul 2006 12:54 GMT102
Is this lathe worth this much or is there some funny bidding going on.
I though about bidding when the price was around a grand. The 500 mile or so
round trip to pick it up maybe wouldn't have been to bad.

Help with Polar Lights Batplane10 Jul 2006 03:59 GMT4
I haven't had time nor space to build anything in almost 25 years.
I was hell on wheels with 1/72 Century series fighters a long while

But I read the books, surf the net and am amazed by y'alls knowledge
Lathes09 Jul 2006 23:58 GMT83
I'm thinking about getting a lathe for making small components to
support other hobbies. I have the Warco catalogue to hand and my head
is spinning ... a couple of questions -
Should I go for variable speed or fixed speed (e.g. WM-210 v the 918)
Dog clutch for screwcutting09 Jul 2006 23:07 GMT11
I've been doing a lot of screw-cutting recently and have just picked u

P-40 and P-47 windows ?09 Jul 2006 20:41 GMT18
On either side of the P-40 and P-47 fuselage, aft of the rear cockpit
bulkhead, there are windows. They are so placed that the pilot would have a
very difficult, if not impossible, time looking out through them. What could
they possibly be for? Please enlighten me. TIA Pete
