Where Can I Get a Couple of Scrapers09 Jul 2006 11:09 GMT9
Morning all, hope you are well. Just a quick plea before I rush off to
pick up the daughter from the airport. Where can I get a couple of
scrapers, maybe a 8/10" flat and a smaller three square. I've looked at
the usual culprits but can't seem to see anything listed. A few weeks
Wick Lubricators for a Southbend09 Jul 2006 10:43 GMT1
Where can these be obtained from? I have a 9" southbend lathe, which is in
bits and unfortunately the lubricators for the headstock are missing. Anyone
know where I can obtain some of these?
IIRC, they consist of a felt block, about 1/2" in length, and about 3/8"

Switching thermocouples08 Jul 2006 22:18 GMT9
I want to be able to monitor two pipes with a single display using
'type 'K' thermocouples. Temperatures involved lie in the range 10-45
deg C.
Now I know it is naughty to have additional junctions involved in
New to vertical milling08 Jul 2006 20:47 GMT19
Having just bought Centec 2B mill I now need to find some tooling. What
would be the best collet system to invest in and where is the cheapest
place to buy from? The mill uses 2MT tools.
cheers
Way To Go08 Jul 2006 17:33 GMT1
We look like having a factory move on our hands between now and March 2007 when
our present lease expires (23 years in the same place!)
One possibility is a local engineering place who manufacture very nice
components in 316 Stainless, and who are within a good two stones throw from
Revell USS Olympia08 Jul 2006 14:47 GMT1
I have a Revell USS Olympia model I purchased from an antique store that is
intact except for the instruction sheet.  I've already tried to get a copy
from Revell but haven't had any luck.  Does anyone have a copy they'd be
willing to scan and forward to me?
[p-OT] Valkyrie undercarriage gubbins.08 Jul 2006 12:45 GMT3
Does anyone have clear images of the main undercarriage as seen from the
front or back ?  I've got side-on images but the wheels mask all the
stuff that's wrapped around the bogey.
Richard.

thier own speel:

proportions, that will spawn the next industrial revolution, and will
Powder milling07 Jul 2006 22:36 GMT10
I have some plastic, that I wish to crush or mill intoa very fine
powder, as fine as I can make it.
Have tried a disc with sandpaper on it, running against what I suppose
looks like the end of a trumpet / cone , similar to a flour mill I
Airshowmodels07 Jul 2006 22:09 GMT1
I posted a few months ago on this topic, but lost the response. Apparently
