Modeling the Black Pearl05 Jul 2006 20:34 GMT16
Are there any ship model kits that come close enough to the Black Pearl

Just got my flyer, and must say that I am impressed.  All color and
with semi-gloss pages - nice.

I've heard of people making a compression from an old refrigerator but never
seen such a beast. Anyone know of any plans on the web?

Sanding Disc Adhesive05 Jul 2006 12:27 GMT4

aluminium face plate of my linisher.
It was a water based adhesive, pink whilst wet but drying to a deep red
colour. It had to be applied to sanding disc and face plate, allowed to

I'm in the Midlands, can anyone suggest where I can buy a small,
refillable, bottle of argon?

Microscale System on Hase/Tam decals?05 Jul 2006 01:12 GMT2

What is happening to group04 Jul 2006 10:42 GMT51
What is happening to traffic?  Is it just that summer is here?  The last
few days the number of new messages has only been in the teens!  I can
remember when it used to be 150-200.  Even lately it has run 50-80.
Dirt color on Eastern front--1941?04 Jul 2006 10:18 GMT3
As silly as that may sound, is there anything unique about the color of
the dirt/mud on the eastern front, c. 1941?  I'm building a KV-1B, and
I know there are very different colors here in the US depending on
where you are.  I'm not trying to get real anal about it all, just
