I've got to make some gauge glass protectors. Any suggestions for the guard glass? Is ordinary window glass ok? or is some sort of toughened glass reqd? if so where is it available and how is it cut? I've rejected plastic (perspex?) expecting it to discolour or suffer surface

My elderly Jones & Shipman 540 surface grinder has suddenly started throwing a substantial amount of oil out from under the LH end of the table, on every stroke. I know there are one or two 540 users here - have any of you

Can't remember who was after the air chuck and bits and pieces from Adrian Hodgson, but I picked them up today from Adrian's workplace in Leyland, and will hand to Martin Perman in the next few days to bring down to Dorset. (Might have been Wayne?)

Did anyone besides the U.S use the F-86D? And if so were there different paint schemes than the natural metal finish? Seems like I saw somewhere Denmark had some. I'm looking for something a little different because I'm just not any good doing NMF paint schemes?
