Digital Calipers, £8.99 at Aldi this Sunday.

I'm asking myself:  Where was I and what happened?
I drove down to Mountain View (California) yesterday and lo and behold San
Antonio Hobbies is no more!  The store is vacant, and a "for lease" sign is
out in front.

 I have an S7 and would like to cut metric threads on occasion. I also
have access to a far better shop than my own in which I can cut a few
gears and do a bit of CNC work as training.
 What I would like to know is if someone out there has a conversion

I'm about to get 2 Historic Aviation display models...
the Fokker Eindecker III...24 3/4 inch wingspan
and the Fokker DR 1...18 1/2 inch wingspan.
 I'd rather not drill any holes through the fabric.

I received a new kit from Czech Models that has a vacuformed canopy. I dip
every canopy in future as a matter of practice.  Second question: what is
the best way to "glue/cement/affix" the vac canopy to the fuselage?

Tonnes ??? It seems that 1 Tonnes = 200 BTU / min. What is the tonne

Hi. I sanded some plastic parts quickly with some 600 grit sandpaper to
remove a small seem. Then I washed and dried them before spraying them
with Tamiya lacquer, but I noticed that where I had sanded, the paint
didn't take very well, and it took some extra coats.

I am about to machine some CX120 brass into a name plate by cnc with a
0.025" carbide endmill.
The maximum speed of my X1 is 2000 rpm so I guessed a 0.003" cut at 0.003"
depth was reasonable.
