I received a new kit from Czech Models that has a vacuformed canopy. I dip
every canopy in future as a matter of practice.  Second question: what is
the best way to "glue/cement/affix" the vac canopy to the fuselage?

Hi. I sanded some plastic parts quickly with some 600 grit sandpaper to
remove a small seem. Then I washed and dried them before spraying them
with Tamiya lacquer, but I noticed that where I had sanded, the paint
didn't take very well, and it took some extra coats.

I am about to machine some CX120 brass into a name plate by cnc with a
0.025" carbide endmill.
The maximum speed of my X1 is 2000 rpm so I guessed a 0.003" cut at 0.003"
