Revell Anniversary Reissue Kits - Pics anywhere?07 Aug 2006 12:19 GMT11
In an earlier post a link was given in German I believe showing what
Revell had planned to release this year....  There is no mention at all
of this event except for the Pirate ship on the
Revell website.  Revell sure has changed. Now their inventory is

Roden Fokker F.1 kit07 Aug 2006 04:44 GMT1
Hi Troops:
For the benefit of those who are W.W.I enthusiasts, the Roden 1/32
scale Fokker F.1 (pre-production tri-plane) kit has arrived. Be ready
for a bit of sticker shock, Roden's price has gone up compared to their
Is there a marketplace newsgroup associated with this one?07 Aug 2006 03:54 GMT15
Some newsgroups I read have an associated "marketplace" newsgroup for
announcements of related items for sale. I don't see anything like
that, that would be proper for posting of announcements related to
scale models, at least not in my news server's list of groups.
All Heil Vess!!!07 Aug 2006 03:48 GMT19
I saw Vess post about deep storage of all his Isreali kits.
Hey Vess, admit it, you hate JEWS, Mel Gibson is your Hero,
and Hitler your Idol.
You are a f.cking loser! The Jews need to kill off anyone

Filling jet canopy seam how?06 Aug 2006 14:11 GMT8
I am still in the search for a good technique in order to fill gaps
between my canopies and jet fuselage.
I was using squadron putty but wasn't happy with the results around the
canopy, I would just make a mess.
3 phase inverters06 Aug 2006 10:45 GMT19
Has anyone any experience of modifying 3phase-3phase inverters to run
from single phase input?
I've used the Mitsubishi 1phase-3phase 230V inverters successfully in
the past but I'm trying to drive a motor which can't be changed to delta.
Canberra PR906 Aug 2006 10:39 GMT24
I have just seen three Canberra PR9s flying in formation over my house.
I live not far from RAF Marham (in fact, I used to serve there a number of
years ago), RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall (the latter two are USAFE
bases) and so I'm used to seeing military aircraft.
NASCAR models?06 Aug 2006 09:25 GMT1
Hello all, I'm new to this group.
I try to build a few models once or twice a year as time is so precious
and I'm extremely busy.
This year I've decided to build a scenario of two NASCAR race cars

Took me a long time to find this shot, but here is one of the best
pictures of the area between the tails of a late production Super Hornet
I've seen:

Please help with my first Guillows P-51D 1/16 scale balsa kit05 Aug 2006 14:31 GMT2
I'm working on my first Guillows balsa kit, the P51-D Mustang kit #402.
I've reached the part where the M1 and M2 fillet parts need to be added
where the wings' leading and trailing edges meet the fuselage. IMHO,
the plans are a bit unclear as to where these fillets actually go, and
A link to Model Engineer05 Aug 2006 10:02 GMT14
I heard about a Magazine called something like the Model Engineer.
Is it good ?
Is it worth a prenumeration, and do you know a link to, where I can see the
price and eventually subscribe?
