Managed to get a small bargin on the dread ebay the other day - a teeny mechanical hacksaw for 99p, with a 0.125hp 240v motor - not mounted of course. This thing uses shortened normal hacksaw blades, it's that small. Runs

My Holbrook C10 has a 4-way toolpost that the manual calls a "turret" but I want to replace it with the Multifix that I acquired from eBay some time ago. The problem is that I can't get the toolpost gubbins off the compound slide!

The recent Mid East 'activity' has gotten me interested in IDF a/c. I noticed that it seems only the Kfirs use(d) the yellow & black ID triangles. I've done a little Googling, but no answers. If the Kfir is the only a/c to use them, then why? What were they IDing the Kfir

Anyone know where I can get 16DP gears in 20 and 30 teeth sizes (14.5 degree pitch angle) - i.e. standard screwcutting gears for lathes such as the Raglan, Pools Special, Early Zyto, Kerry, Mellor, Senior, and most Atlas lathes.. and I am sure a few more?
