Does anyone use a portable air tank for airbrushing? I have both a small Badger air compressor in my work room and a CH 4 gal. air comp. in the garage. I don't particularly like the sound of the Badger loudly humming away while I am doing some intricate painting.

I want to get some lights rigged up over my lathe in the workshop. have a big fluorescent light fitting that I'd like to use. I've rea that "strobing" could be a problem, but has anybody ever actually had problem? Is it that dangerous?

Hi has anybody built a small press brake??? I have a number of small aluminium components that need bends with a wide variety of bend radius's that really suit the use of a pressbrake rather than a folder, if anybody has a design or knows of one I would be very gratefull

A friend of mine has to relocate out of state due to finanical and health reasons. He asked to to help sell his collections of models. He has numerous military plane models fully assembled and painted, and he also has some NASCAR models assembled and fully painted.

I am having a little difficulty masking straight lines on the hull of a ship kit I am working on. It is a 3 color application and with all the curves of the hull I can't seem to get everything to look straight. Anyone have any tips or secrets to share?
