means of sending money overseas where international money orders are not
convenient. Can someone fill me in on where I go to learn more??
Drill press for normal drill30 Sep 2006 21:47 GMT7
My father has a gadget that allows you to clamp a normal drill and
operate it like a drill press. I'm looking for one of these for another
use (don't ask yet!!) - are they still made?

I saw it in the local paper that the Collings Foundation will have their
B-17 and B-24 back at Montgomery Airport in Orange County in New York
for the weekend and they will have a B-25 with them this time around as
well.  I've see the 17 and the 24 before, they're two very ...

Dragon Magic-Tracks29 Sep 2006 19:41 GMT6
Does anyone know if Dragon has any plans on marketing their
Magic-Tracks as a separate item? It sure would be good to be able to
get your hands on some, to be used on some of the older Dragon (DML)
kits.
Spray cans (UK)29 Sep 2006 19:34 GMT3
I am starting an Airfix Vulcan kit and want to finish it in the anti-flash
white scheme.  What would be the best type of spray can and technique to get
a good solid white, non-yellowing finish, but which wouldn't obscure too
much moulded detail?

I've gone thru my stash several times now, picking out things but

though I have zero room for display.....
Long tapers28 Sep 2006 22:06 GMT11
Hi all, I need to cut a long (~500mm) taper on my lathe that is longer than
the travel on the top slide.  Are there any gadgets/ideas that will let me
do this in a single pass?
I have a Colchester Triumph 2000 BTW.
