In a catalogue that dropped through my door there was a table top
induction cooker, for not a lot of money.  Output was 400w - 1800w,
and I got to wondering whether 1800w would be enough to melt a small
quantity of cast iron.  Max working temp way 240 degrees C, but I'm

        anyone have any links building barograph's.  I looked Barometer
Worlds site, they sell some parts, but I would really like to try and

Just picked up a 2hp, belt driven Sherry air compressor (150L, I
think). Didn't come with a manual and looks about 30 years old - anyone
know where I could get a manual from?
Cost me £50, which I think is a bit of a bargain as it looks very well

I'm trying to find a decent, "thin" gold paint that doesn't obscure fine
detail for use on resin kit parts. I've tried some paint right outta the can
and it just lays down far too thick and heavy. I've come close using Tamiya
Gold Leaf mixed with a bit of Tamiya Clear Yellow and ...
