So, I got carried away at LIDL when I went in to pick up a 150mm digital
vernier for £9.99, and also came back with :-

I recently 'graduated' to the use of decal solutions, but some of my more
recent kits show a problematic aftereffect from the use of Microset.
Wherever the slightest bit of the material has remained on the kit (under
the film of some decals, for example), the paint turns a dirty, ...

A local model shop is selling the Revell 1/350 New Jersey battleship kit at
a highly discounted price.
I've done some googling but can't find many opinions about this kit
So, any ideas what it is like or can you point me at any reviews.

There may be a ME class starting in Chippenham if we can get enough people.
I think there are six enroled already and we need a few more for the course
to go ahead, but I don't know definite numbers.
I'm not too sure exactly what's involved as it's never been held there

While cleaning the headstock on the ML7 yesterday I put a tapered dead
center in the spindle and it seemed to fit snugly. Was I just lucky or is
the spindle actually ground to a standard Morse taper?

Why isn't there a 1/48 scale kit of the H-3, CH-3, HH-3 helicopter on
the market? It was pretty heavily used by the US Air Force during and
after Vietnam and even into Desert Storm. Any supporters out there?
Manufacturers: We could sure use this kit. How about it?

need of a new default paint range, just in case Humbrol doesn't revive.
I'm looking for a range of paints, that meets the following criteria:
