Is anyone else having problems with uk.rec.models.engineering? It has disappeared from both the (french) news servers I have been using although other uk.rec groups remain. I then tried Google Groups but they only have postings up to June this year!

I have just purchased a Chester 626 Mill. The delivery was a disgrac but I suppose that's not their fault. The Machine arrived and afte phoning a friend to use a Hiab to lift off the pallets I put in place I then tightened the head bolts and one sheared!!! I was not impressed

I have been wondering about this for some time since the thread on electricity usage a short while ago. I have a Oxford 180 Amp arc welder. The tapping's on the primary allow from approx 210 to 440 Volt if memory serves at all.
