Mr Surfacer Problem02 Oct 2006 05:29 GMT5
I am spraying Mr Surfacer 1000 as a primer/barrier prior to applying Alclad
II. I am using a Passche H airbrush at about 20 lbs air pressure and the Mr
Surfacer was thinned with Mr Color thinner. The problem is that the primer
seems to be drying too fast as it leaves the airbrush ...
Need airbrush suggestion02 Oct 2006 04:57 GMT5
I've gotten pretty good with spray cans and paint brushes and
would like to take the next step and get an airbrush.
I'd like a good beginners airbrush. I generally make 1/48 scale planes
and would like something that is good for fine details as well as
Tools for Alba 1a shaper02 Oct 2006 04:45 GMT1
I've inherited a small shaper, a little 10" Alba 1a. Unfortuneately it
came without any tooling. Can I use the cutting tools from my lathe or
do I need special shaper stylee tools?
Reflections on good and evil02 Oct 2006 03:56 GMT39
My name is Lorenzo Crescini  and I'm Italian. These "Flashes on
Good and evil" reflect the same mood characterizing the Flashes on
the Holy Gospels and Turin's Holy Shroud I wrote in Africa: making
myself useful to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Lousiville KY area hobby shops/clubs02 Oct 2006 01:46 GMT10
There is a small chance that I may be offered an IT job at one of the major
employers in the Louisville area.
Relocating is a no brainer, less traffic, cheaper homes, less expensive
standard of living. But if course can I feed the monkey? Yahoo Yellow pages

'oil' on the label beside it... can anyone please inform me as to what
sort of oil goes in here and why please?
440 3Phase Controller01 Oct 2006 21:52 GMT13
I have a controller that I want to hook up to a 3phase motor which is
currently working without one.  The problem I have is I bought the
controller off of ebay without a manual and I know my motor has one
wire that is 220 and two that are 110 with a ground to the motor.  My
Big-scale combustion engines?01 Oct 2006 20:50 GMT11
I think that most of you are in war birds or tanks. But does anybody of
you know of a plastic/resin kit for a _big_ scale
internal-combustion-engine?
I know one manufacturer (read: I know that I forgot his name) who made a
Trumpeter Wyvern - 1/48 scale01 Oct 2006 19:19 GMT3
Last night I picked up the (relatively) new 1/48 scale Trumpeter Wyvern S.4.
I know almost nothing about the aircraft and bought it on a whim when I was
getting another model that I had actually gone there for (I like the
blk/yellow Suez markings).  The box art shows two of these ...
