I have a run of steel plates to drill. These will be clamped to the mill
table in a sandwich, a 6mm top and bottom, with a 12.7mm bit in the middle.
There are 8 holes all 10.2mm dia. to be drilled.
I would normally spot these off, but wonder if there are any recommendations

Anyone have a list of any/all of the Soviet mobile ICBM kits made over the
years? Mainly looking for the SS-20, 25 and 27, but any other mobile
launchers with TEL, including a list of any Frog, Scud and Spider kits as

Does anyone have good, clear photos of the vanes inside the intakes of the
B-1B, or better yet, has anyone made a pattern for them?  A top or bottom
view plan of their placement within the duct would be extremely helpful too.
I have the 1/48th scale kit.

will "black bar"  weld OK ?  I want to make a heavy roller  with a 35
mm spindle . Black bar is so much cheaper the bright bar , but will it
weld ?

I was wondering if anyone knew the meaning of the inverted V that appears on
the side of many Abrams tanks. I have also seen pictures of the V pointing
sideways. Any information? Thanks!

Bought a 50 year old two wheeled bandsaw.
I want to cut aluminium upto maybe 2" thick, that was the specific use
i bought it for, but if it will cut steel I am sure that will be
