| More Lex questions | 21 Oct 2006 17:10 GMT | 11 |
A few more questions about the Lexington (CV2) kit I am working on. In a couple of those side galleries along the hull there are some machines that look like small cranes. Should these be hull color, or would they be some other color.

| CVN-65 USS Enterprise | 21 Oct 2006 17:00 GMT | 1 |
Does anyone know if the recently issued Monogram USS Enterprise in 1/400 scale is the same mold as the old OTAKI kit? I have not seen both at the same time to compare side to side, but the OTAKI looks like it is a slightly better kit. In other words, if you could buy

Instruction sheet. I will take a scan if you have the sheet. What am I looking for? A Hudson Miniatures 1911 Buick 'Bug'. I have the kit but there are no instructions and despite my idea that I could adapt the old Aurora 1/16th instructions, I find I do need the original.

This might be a bit off topic, but I think some kind person might be able to help. I have let myself in for a job removing and re-welding four tubular body mounting brackets on my nephew's "Dax" Cobra kit car.

| Quick question on keys for shafts | 20 Oct 2006 01:44 GMT | 5 |
Is it common to obtain 6mm x 6 mm keys or 6 mm x 8 mm keys? An internet pages suggests it should be 6 x 6 but a shaft minus the key seems to suggest 6 x 8 would fit better. The 8 mm being the height of the key into the shaft and gear the 6 mm being the width.
