Revell U-Boat and after-market interior17 Nov 2006 20:15 GMT7
Hey, all.
Okay - first off, I'm not an avid builder - at least I haven't been in
years.
But, for whatever reason, I twigged onto this new Gato Sub from Revell,
Oxford welder - more junk to clear17 Nov 2006 19:29 GMT6
I've got a little RT110 Oxford set to get rid of. It's been lurking in
the corner for a few years, it's probably 5 years since it was used.
220 -240V input, 50V & 80V output. 110A max on 50V, less on 80V.
20 quid if you collect, taken as seen. It'll go in the boot of most
More junk - die filer17 Nov 2006 14:57 GMT2
I've got a little Excel benchtop die filer, I think it's been through
various hands before mine. I could use i if I had the space, but I
haven't.
It was given to me, so I'm offering it free. Collect from Warrington
Any opinions on the Arc Euro mini drill?17 Nov 2006 14:48 GMT2
I need to get a Dremel-type tool from somewhere and I see that the
latest Arc Euro catalogue has a "mini drill" listed - any opinions, or
suggestions for better alternatives?

Private email-public forum-'public email'. Why?17 Nov 2006 12:15 GMT20
Not wanting to start any flames, but why do some folks carry on email
conversations here, in public, conversations that are or at least turn
OT & best taken to private email? Do they not have email access? Sorry,
but it's just one of those pet peeves I have.

Douglas 7B and DB-717 Nov 2006 06:35 GMT1
Does anyone know of a source for after-market parts to convert the AMT/
Italieri A-20B-C back to the early DB-7s orthe Douglas 7B?

engines and the smaller vertical tail.  A 7B conversion kit would need
Rather depressing news17 Nov 2006 05:25 GMT10
Listening to the news on the way home tonight, they were talking about

been for the last 7 years.  But of more interest to me was the fact
that there are currently less people employed in manufacturing than at

240V-110V Isolation Transformers16 Nov 2006 20:24 GMT2
We will have the other three transformers available shortly, I think Tim Leech
and Charles Ping had first say, but it was a while ago and I can't quickly find
the details of who was having what.

BCA jig borer manual?16 Nov 2006 19:39 GMT4
I have rescued from a skip a good example of the above. It seems to be a
mark3 with the 2 speed 3 phase motor. Does anyone have a copy of a manual
and/or a spare part catalogue? I only got one collet (1/4") so need to find
some more.
