Is it just me, or has ebay changed its page width slightly in the last few days. If I look at any specific item it is exactly the correct width to fill the screen, but if I look at a search list or one of their specific category lists, it is just slightly too wide - maybe

Can anyone supply me with linkage dimensions and maybe a photo of a lever-operated tailstock for an ML7? Somehow I doubt Santa is going to be bringing one, so decided to make my own instead; I'm curious as to how much leverage theirs gives.

Any experts here on Bridgeport stepper motors? ( Machine is Series 2 mark 2 MDI ) My "Y" axis motor is buzzing like a good 'un, jerky operation, then overloads the trip, which blows out. Also, gives "Gross position error" even

Is there a metalworkers equivalent of the woodworkers bowl lathe i.e. large swing, but short bed? My need is to turn flywheels for model steam and i.c. engines, but don't have room for a large footprint ex-industrial lathe - large

I want to re-surface my garage (workshop) floor whilst I have everything moved out of it to clean up after the recent flood. The existing floor is rough concrete, previously covered with floor paint, and with a few divots in it from various drops.
