I can't read a model magazine or web review without seeing it
mentioned-what is 'our' equivalent of Future floor wax?? what do other
UK modellers use?

The missing-Lynx site is impossible to join.  Network54 does not save
passwords set up so you can "join" for a single internet session, but
discontinue the session and Network54 no longer recognizes your
password.  The "forgotten" password page is broken.  When you do

I am reading the Nexus book on gears and gear cutting with an interest in
cutting a few beeval gears, especially after looking at the prices of HPC.
Has anyone successfully made any parallel depth bevels as described using
standard spur cutters, I would be interested.

I have just about given up on finding a 1/6 Hasegawa LeRhone Engine
Kit.  I was wondering how the quality of the large scale Williams Bros.
kits might compare.  Can a high quality display be made from the
Williams Bros kits or are they just meant for use as decorations for

I'm currently attempting the Nemett OHC engine from Model Engineer.  The
author uses a nice looking facing cutter to skim the crankcase.  My facing
cutter came "free" with the mill and bears more resemblence to a pigs
trotter with four sharks teeth embedded than a piece of ...

Has anyone access to the original (Model Engineers Workshop) magazine
article  on the Stent grinder and could run me off either a scan or a
copy?
Is there a mail list for builders of the Stent such as exists for the

Does any after-market manufacturer make the long pylons, located on the
underside of the CFT's on the F-15E?  Or do they come standard with any
F-15E kit in this scale?  I've got Hasegawa and AMT kits.
