Does anyone have the web address for the company who has taken over
Hawk and is doing the re-issue of the old models.  I believe they might
also be doing some of the old Lindberg as well. (:>

I am a silly billy. I accidentally left the traverse drive engaged and
forgot about it. the table came up against the stop and the drive
started to slip, I dont know for what period of time. It was longenough
for the slip to become a permanat feature even when the bed is not up

I've a requirement for a couple of brass discs about 1.1/2" - 2" dia and
about 1/2" thick.  If anyone has a suitable bit of brass bar stock they
could slice a couple of slices from and put in a suitably strong jiffy bag,
I'd be grateful.

Just a quick note - My lathe motor (or condenser) gave up on Dec31st. I sent
Chester an e-mail hoping for a reply early next week in fact got a reply at

After reading the threads on the logic of the P-38 being gloss black it
made me wonder if the P-61s should be gloss for the same reason.  Anybody?
